Can you clarify this for me? I have a hard time understanding this. Are you going by the precept that by committing a hate crime, the person is being selfless?

I thought that selflessness was giving to others, the opposite of selfishness. So how is war necessary for the existence of selflessness? I enjoy reading your posts - you have interesting viewpoints on things. I'm just curious where this thought was going.
