I thought this statement was so powerful:
"Experience comes into being only tentatively, for
a little time in a certain form; then that form ends
and a new form replaces it moment by moment."
How many times have we all looked back at an
experience, like a great vacation, and realized
that we don't really remember that much about it. I
realized this could apply to many of the moments
in my life, probably because I wasn't fully present
in the moment to begin with. There are always
those lingering thoughts of bills, homework,
house or yard work that needs to be done, etc. In
order to fully experience each moment as it
occurs we need to give the moments of our lives
the attention they deserve.
That's my thoughts on it anyway.
