All right. Here I am, twenty minutes from midnight on Sunday, still trying to digest the intricate nature of ontology. This afternoon I had a relatively intense discussion about ontology with a friend of mine. He's done some fairly intense thinking on this topic, and here's what we came up with;

It is our theory that people are not, per se, thinkers, but receivers of information from a collective consciousness which may or may not have a physical location within space. This is where our subconscious (or unconscious as the case may be) rests, and that when we have "thoughts", this is actually sensory perception from now being sent into a soup of previous knowledge, or a "philosophical waste dump" in the collective mind, where it is circulated and it attracts similar thoughts. These thoughts come primarily from our own past, but also from collective experience, and when condensed by our conscious mind it becomes a thought. Is this pluralism? Or is it dualism? I can't decide.
