Hi everyone. I am pretty excited about taking this class because it is my first Philosophy. I do not know much about the subject so I figured now would be a good time to check it out.
I have one more term at Lane then I will probably transfer to U of O to graduate with a degree in Psychology. I am not sure exactly what further education I will complete after I get my bachelor's degree. This is my fourth online class and I really like the format so hopefully this class will be similar.
I am fairly unfamiliar with Philosophy so reading the first part of the book (Does the Center Hold?) was very informative. There was a lot of information about various different philosophers, as well as the different types of philosophy.
When the author wrote about the types of Philosophy, he mentioned questions that may associate with that type. I thought that was very informative. This gave me a really good idea of the types of questions that should be explored.
