Palmer makes an interesting comment on category-mistake using the book Alice in Wonderland as an example. Alice told the King that she saw nobody. Phrased this way nobody, who has no entity; becomes somebody which has an entity. Making the term nobody, "belong in one logical or grammatical category and erroneously placing it in another category and then drawing absurd conclusions from that miscatergorization.
Honestly I don't recall thinking about category mistakes in human speech before (well around me), or in other areas of life.
