Well I found chapter 4 to be very interesting. Seems to me that it would be very possible to have one of those meters cartooned on page 151 (liar one). As science progresses, we are constantly learning new things about what we thought we knew (much like the X=Y is actually - what people used to call X is now known to be Y (on page 135). Dualism in my opinion belongs in Descartes time, not present day. Sure we still cannot explain how the conscience and body work together, but there is no proof to date that shows us that the conscience can live apart from the body. I think that pluralism plays a key role in science. If science were depending on monism only-it would have seen everything by now. But they continue to explore all the layers.
