There was tons of challenging and
intricate information to absorb in chapter
four. Although it was difficult to process, I
find the overall theme of ontology to be
fascinating. Defined as the "theory of
reality or being," the concept is
immeasurable. I find it interesting how
any author can choose a place to actually
begin delving into the topic. I also find it
interesting, or strange, how there are
"keywords" in philosophy texts. The
discipline itself cannot be defined and
most of the other definitions clearly are
not cut and dry either. Anyway, I think that
reality is a creature of perception and
societal norms, in a broader sense. Just
a few thoughts...
