Ah yes, the perils of distance and
self-scheduling, which makes my brain
say, "Oh, no rush, I can always post
tomorrow when I feel like it more!" I
always like to think that if I'd been in the
Milgrim experiment or something
similar, it wouldn't've taken long for me to
tell the Lab Coats that I was outta there.

I'm one of those mid-life crisis students.
Not sure what exactly I want to do to earn
my keep the rest of my life. What I *want*
to do is read genre fiction, natural history,
and other books, play with my pets (a
pug, a cat, 3 rats), do paper and fiber arts,
watch baseball (heck, might as well throw
in some basketball and football and
tennis and ice skating and...), surf the
web, watch birds, travel...

But none of those pay the bills. This year
I'm just taking a couple of classes in
things that interest me. Next year I might
decide to get back on track to finish my
Bachelor's Degree... or maybe I'll have hit
the jackpot selling some art ;)
