now who are you to say what free will is? the Behaviorist BF Skinner proposes that free will is an illusion, we are programmed by our past experiences with reinforcement and punishment (not exactly his words, but you get the picture) and how is that really different than a computer, you push the button to turn it on, and it does. your alarm clock goes off in the morning and you "turn on" and go about your daily business.. after turning on your computer it goes through pre-programmed functions such as making sure all previous devices are present. then starts its routine of loading your OS of choice, now compare this to your wake up routine, which you probably follow to the letter every morning. wake up, aware of it or not, your brain checks to make sure all previous devices (appendages and whatnot) are still there.. then you get up, go to the restroom make coffee.. you get my drift.. who is to say that this is your will, and not because of previous "programming" that states that these activity's done first thing after "boot up" will provide you with benefits and reinforcement to do the same thing tomorrow?
