Hello This is Cathy Fleming-Tentinger,
I want to respond to What is Real? I always thought that something was real for me, if I could touch it, feel it, see it, or hear it. Other abstract things like unicorns, fairies, angels and god are beliefs. The trouble begins when I try to explain to someone else what is real to me. Even if both of us see the same event, we really see two different things, because of past experiences, no two people see the same things, because our brain plays tricks on us using past events. Therefore what I hear, see, feel and touch is experienced differently that how you would see, hear, feel or touch an event. So, is my real your real?
