Hello,
My name is Melinda. I work full time making wallpaper and I going to school full time. I have 2 kids still at home and 3 grown children, one grandson and another grandchild on the way. I am working on a transfer degree. This is my first philosophy class but I am also taking a Women in Philosophy class at Lane this term, so I am getting double the info for the first time.

I wonder if Socrates was what we call a "BS-er" today? But I suppose if he knew something about some things and was able to articulate in a philosophical way...then he was probably more then just a "BS-er".

I liked the view of Heraclitus and agree that everything does change except change. That is the one thing we can count on.

Does the center hold? Yes....because without a center to hold on to...change would drive us mad....so perhaps crazy people have lost their center???
