I was thinking a lot about Mythos and Logos, and have a seed of an idea. I think that the two are intrinsically connected - that you can't have one without the other in some form or another. They both speak similar ideas, but in different ways. Perhaps they could be seen as almost a right-brain/left-brain? Two halves that are separately working together.
I really enjoyed the sound-bite on pg. 15 about his concept;
"Scientific theories seem to deny the reality of the sensuous world with which we are in daily contact..."
(Levi-Strauss/Jung)
It strikes me that Logos and Mythos (science and magic, right-brain and left-brain) both help our minds paint a picture of reality as we each individually experience it. It is detrimental to block out mysticisim and magic for science and science for magic. Newton had a wonderful example of how the two are connected in the title of his book (pg. 17).

One more side note. The idea of Socrates meeting his friends to discuss "life, the universe, and everything" in the streets is not unlike the way we meet and talk in coffee shops these days. Perhaps we are breeding a new strain of over-caffinated philosophers. :)
