HI!

I wanted to introduce one of the topics discussed in our texts and see how others felt about it. How are you doing with the differences between object oriented programming and structured programming?

I personally am finding difficulty understanding the difference. In structured programming your programs are usually set into modules and functions which could be described as objects.

My impression so far is that objects are given a higher priority and are much more dynamic. More attention is given to the state of the object and the methods you can use. I remember in structured systems we were taught to keep our functions and modules as simple as possible and I think an object oriented approach looks to make objects as "complete" as possible.

What do you guys think?
