Greetings and salutations! My name is Jason and this is my first online class at LCC. This class is one step closer to my goal of directly transferring to the University of Oregon where I will double major in mathematics and computer science.

I'm fresh out of high school and have lived in the Eugene area for most of my life. Though I've had no training in it, I've been playing around with programming languages since I was twelve. I will apply the information I get from this class to my own software development projects.

Other interests of mine include playing musical instruments, reading and writing fiction, calligraphy, role playing, interactive fiction, physics, history, and philosophy.

I hope to have an opportunity of meeting all of you throughout the course of this class.
