Hi Everyone!

My name is Kenneth Woolliscroft. I am an engineering major and plan to transfer to a four year university after spring term. I have only four classes left before I get my Associate of Science degree and will likely continue my studies at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.

I am studying engineering because I enjoy problem solving and exercising creative thought. In addition to technology, I enjoy writing and reading well-written non-fiction. I actually took Pam Dane’s online writing 121 class twice because I enjoyed it so much. Academically it would seem that a focus on arts and humanities works contrary to engineering, but I find that creative thought thrills me regardless of whether it is written, programmed, or designed. It is an expression of ones individuality.

I have a decent amount of programming experience. I have taken C, C++, Assembly, and Java Script. I fully expect to need to make copious use of programming in the type of engineering I want to do. It helps that I enjoy it as well.
