1. Case studies on Learning Communities should be written up and used for discussion. I suggest these be written up using web pages so we can see faces, images, and maybe hear some audio. That way we can share with the LCC community as well.

2. Learning "circles" could be considered the bigger category, with "communities" being one type of circle. I am thinking of a Frank Merrill type of approach here. That would allow us to evaluate how small group learning circles are being utilized across campus as part of SLI -- and give SLI a wider and more vigorous participation -- we could ask all instructors to tell us how they employ active learning circles (small groups or teams) in their classrooms.

3. Anecdotal evidence needs to be gathered -- stories have to be put onto web pages created by students and instructors -- stories of learning in new ways that we can all read and study.
