These arguments alone prove the existence of God. Atheism is the belief that God does not exist. The greatest conceivable being exists only in your mind...If God existed only in the mind he would not be the greatest. The Paradox of Omnipotence: Asks the question..."Can God create a stone so heavy He can't lift it? If you say "yes" Then there is something that God cannot do..which is lift the stone he created. If you say "No" Something else he can't do is create the stone.
A 20th Century Philosopher Norman Malcoms says:"If God's existence is possible then it is actual!"
Monk Gaunilo's arguement: Using Ansel's argument can prove the greatest conceivable island exists....when it obviously does not!

Is 'greatness' a value judgement? This comes back to human reality. You would need to define greatness or perfection or existence. The cosmological argument or A quina: "In the world we see cause and effect." There has to be a first cause for existence to be" Just because each student has a brain does not prove that the class has a brain. teleological or Paylee: Analogy of the watch and the stone. The stone is so simple and just "there" The watch represents a much more complex explanation. Complexity does not just happen. This theory follows the thought that in terms of purpose, intention and function. A counter analogy is as follows: The Universe is like a vegetable. You come from seeds, created from germination so as the universe is like an animal...created by pro-creation. This idea is either malevolent (or) incompotant.
