Compatiblism try's to redefine freewill<br>
it agree's with determinism that all actions are caused.<br>
agrees with libertarianism that we are free and responsible for are own actions.<br>
They redefine freewill to make it compatible with determinism.<br>

Free will is doing what you want to do free from external compulsion.<br>
In free acts the cause of the act is some desire or reason belonging to the agent.<br>
