We are reading the Old Testament first, which is also known as the Hebrew bible, and Tanakh. Professor Borrowdale said that if you want to get another look at religion to check out the book "The Worlds Religions" by Ethan Smith. He warns though that the book puts a 'happy face' on the religions, meaning that he focuses on the positive and not the negative aspects of each one.
