Main important things we covered today other than the basics are as follows:
-Islam derived much from arabic pagonism including all of the 5 pillars
-Jinn are natural spirits(also in Quran)known as genies
-Mohammad had, at least nine wives(Quran only allows four)
-His youngest was 6(Aesha), concicrated at nine
-Zaynab was wife to his adopted son-in-law which Mohammad took and then justified it in Quran
-"Night Of Power" refers to Mo's first prophetic call by Angel Gabriel
-Quran means recitation
-'Hadith' is about the life of Mohammad
-Muslims belive that Arabic is the 'perfect language' and therefor discourage the Qurans translation
-Mo's second commandment, under Allah, is to spread Islam through military conquest
-Shari'a is islamic law, completed in the 10th century
-Calith(Islamic leader for Sunni) 4 major Caliths in history
-Imam(Islamic leader for Shi'ites) twelve major imams in history, one of these will come back on day of Doom! AHHHHH
-'Jihad' refers to the holy war
-'Greater Jihad' refers to internal struggle
of the soul to admit to Allah
