What is the Gettier problem?
The formula knowledge=truth+justification seems pretty straight forward. So let me ask a question to see if I am actually grasping this correctly.
knowledge is a belief that is held to be true and has substantiating proof to back it up?
Is that close or can anyone clarify this for me?
On second thought maybe I don't want to know what Gettier's problem was.
