I had some conflicting thoughts while doing our reading. I felt sad that as he had all his life experiences which I thought would give him wisdom and knowledge he doubted even the basics. I am hoping by the time I retire I will not think on my life as doubting what was true and what was a dream (although there are points in my life so far I wished was only a dream). I was also thinking as he kept asking who he really was that our life experiences make who we are and what we believe to be true. That is what makes us all unique as human beings. But then again I guess he was doubting even that he was a human being.
