greetings! well, what exactly was it that you didn't understand? i really enjoyed them--intimidated at first by the writing style though. i think understanding descartes' writing is a matter of understanding how he looped everything together. descartes was trying to prove what he knows as right or wrong. something could only be right if it was true (i.e. 2+3=4 etc.). but his thought process was like a game of telephone, where he starts with one thing, and his opinion of that can get so changed the more he thinks about it that by the end it's something completely different.
