hello all,

I am taking this course because I enjoy
philosophical discussions and readings.
I choose an on-line course because it is
convenient and works well with my
schedule. I also learn better outside the
classroom. I am very sensitive to the
fluorescent lights in the classrooms and I
like natural light, so I prefer to sit at a
computer by an open window where I feel
more relaxed.

I look forward to learning with you all.
I found the first two readings difficult to
follow and would appreciate any opinions
on them.
