i wonder why when i drive to school or work i pass at least five churches and they are all churches related to the worship of christ in some way. why so much empahasis on christ? this world is huge and so many cultures worship so many different ideas and theories. does anyone know how many different religions there are in this world? I don't.
from birth we receive our religious information from parents or whomever is around when we're young. as we grow older and ask questions about religion we receive answers from whom we ask. as we become adults and into adulthood with more education about religion we find out about other religions. It seems to me that whatever religion you are born into and learn that will be the one that you are doing because more than likely that's all the religious information that is available to you. the american culture(to generalize) seems to be all into the christ figure. i wonder what percent of the population switches from theism/atheism/agnosticism in some way or another when they get older and learn that religion is culturally learned, taught to you by another and that there are so many to choose from. so many questions :)
