This is kind of off the subject, but it made me think of this class when my son (19) said to me the other day, "Ignorance is bliss Mom, sometimes I really don't want to know everything." Having the knowledge is great, but in some ways it makes us more accountable to the knowledge. To be as an innocent child and take things at face value is sometimes a precious gift. While I enjoy learning new things and other's opinions it is nice once in a while to step back and reflect on the innocence of being blissfully ignorant.
