It's nice to read some philosophy where things seem explained in a more concrete manner without relying on predominate (of the time) suppositions about God. I really like the way Pierce looks at the ways in which doubting and believing are different. I also like the exploration of different viewpoints with the comparisons and contrasts surrounding belief -- struggle inquiry, method of tenacity,method of authority and scientific approach.
