Those are interesting examples and correlations between courage and Clifford's view of truth. I would suggest that the girls were not courageous, merely working without all the information and therefore their beliefs were false. I also found Clifford's presentation surrounding the responsibilities of the individual to the whole really interesting. I'm wondering though what he would think if an individual had a thoroughly researched belief that was shared with others and one of those people chose not to believe it. Is the fact that the first individual shared his/her knowledge with the whole the key to this scenario or is the person who chose not to believe it? Anyone have any ideas?
