Extra Credit Assignment
Due Date: Monday, December 2nd (FIRM
deadline--no assignments will be
accepted after this date)

This extra credit assignment is to help
those who did poorly on the first midterm,
but is being offered to everyone. It will not
affect your standing on the curve if you
don't do it; these points will be added in
after the final curve is drawn for the class
and may have the effect of moving a
student up into the next higher grade.

Type out the answer each question on
the First Midterm Study Guide. Email your
answers to the instructor with the Subject
line:

PHL 202 Extra Credit

Make sure to type that subject line exactly
because I'm going to use it to set up
filtering to send all the assignments to a
particular folder to read and grade all at
once. I will take off points if you do not
type the subject line correctly. You should
start this right away, while the exam
material is still somewhat fresh in your
mind. You can send it in as early as you
like (early is recommended so you don't
miss the deadline), but I won't be grading
any of these until I have them all (i.e. after
the due date).

This assignment will be worth up to a
letter grade on the first exam, depending
on how accurately and completely you
answer the questions. For help with
particular questions, you can review your
midterm in the computer lab or come by
(or call) during office hours.
