Theories of Knowledge

Maybe I didn't understand everything that Descartes was trying to get across, but in my own personal opinion (which is "clear and distinct") because God made us, but he made us with free will it seems to me that he would have bad qualities ( i know Descartes would disagree) because if God was perfect, wouldn't he have been able to see that we would use our free will to be evil also? And because of this, we would have been made differently.....not like robots without free will but some other "thing" that I cannot describe because it does not exist. To me. the fact that God could "make" free will, and free will is not perfect, makes God himself not perfect.
