I still haven't figured out how Decartes comes to the conclusion that God has supplied us with innate knowledge. Locke makes a better argument "Not on the mind naturally imprinted, because not known to children, idiots, etc. For, first, it is evident, that all children and idiots have not the least apprehension or thought of them."
I believe that children cry and suck naturally. A plant naturally takes water through its roots. Does this make it a "thinking being". Some will say yes, on a certain level. I talk to my plants. But it would scare the heck out of me if they answered.
