You may begin taking the first exam this
Wednesday afternoon (October 16th) at
3PM. The last day to take the exam will be
Wednesday, Oct. 23rd. Exams must be
taken at an LCC secured computer lab.

Please take the exam at your earliest
opportunity to make sure you meet the
deadline and to avoid crowding on the
last day.

Also, remember that you are allowed a
3x5 card (both sides) for notes.

NEW LAB HOURS:

The lab in ELEX 108, where most of you
will probably be taking the exam has
changed its hours from what's are in the
syllabus. The new hours are:

Mon-Thurs 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM
Friday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

You MUST be present at least 30 minutes
to an hour BEFORE the lab closes in
order to take the exam and present a
photo I.D. Also, you must take the entire
test in one session--once you start, you
cannot stop in the middle and come back
later to finnish it.

In order to help you study for the exam, I
will be available to answer questions in
the chat room, accessed by clicking the
"chat" button in webboard. This will link
you to a new program called
"ChatSpace". I will be in the chatroom at
the following times:

Wednesday 5-7 PM
Thursday 3:30-5:50 PM

You can also come by or call during
normal office hours (see syllabus). If you
can't make these times, you can make an
appointment with me to meet in person or
via phone or chat. You can also post
particular questions to the webboard for
answering.
