You can percieve God in two ways
1) when your ideas are thourted (directly)
2) when you have ideas(indirectly)

Locke, you can only percieve God indirectly as a creator of material objects that give you ideas.
World had to come from somewhere God must have created it.

if you look at a tulip and is has a certen shape, size, etc. What is there to a tulip beyond these things?
