This does totally suck. How impersonal a machine is. What happened to being able to speak with a living person. I still to this day can not stand calling a company and jumping through there automated list of a thousand hoops just to get to speak to someone. It is very aggravating. It is incredibly frustrating that the society we live in is so money hungry. I work me butt off and manage a business. I was told the other day how it would be cheaper for my boss if they hired someone else (long story). It doesn't matter how hard you work if there is a way of cutting costs people will do it. Its funny that you brought up the fred meyer's new do it yourself check out. I was in portland and got to experience it for the first time. It was kind of fun but at the same time it made me think of that many less jobs there would be because of it. We are being replaced... sucks...
