Where things were once close tight and personal, they are now replaced with cold sterile hospital efficiency. although our society is becoming a more efficient predictable machine, it is now exactly that: a machine.When you go into a store to recycle bottles and cans you now encounter a machine. There are now check out lines in Fred Myer that have no cashier. Nearly all big business has automated phone lines. the human machine will soon be obsolete.
