It's no secret society has changed to be more productive. Everything seems to be processed, even if it's not good for you it's how much more money can be made at the expense of everything else. I work in a bakery, and where I work everything is timed to adjust for everything else. Additives are put into the bread to give more shelf life, and routine operation is critical, as there is no room for time, when you have yeast rising.
The company is always looking to save money, and will do so even if they have to add cancer causing ingredients in the bread. Yes, that's right, the bag of calcium phosonate says " do not breath, yeast and mold inhibitor." You think others are not using these things your wrong, it preserves shelf life, and causes cancer.
