Quite a bit of discussion occurred about terms of office and representation last year. Some interesting ideas arose from this. Two which I don't want to forget about are involving when people start their representation term and how well do we represent our constituents. The idea of a revolving start date is really an issue of institutional memory which can probably be solved other ways. The representation issue is more challenging. Physical sciences representation is challenging with such a diverse group and may need an alternative format. Part-time faculty also have needs which are unique.
