School is said to increase our self worth. To make us smarter, so we can make more money, and become educated. What is not said, is that if you go to school and get bad grades, it's alomost worse than not going in the first place. Grades determine whether we get into a particular program, and most programs are based on gpa to eliminate those who are not as smart. This does not mean those with a lesser grade did not try as hard. It only takes one smart kid in a curve to ruin the entire chances of everyone else in the class of getting a good score. Its not fair, but thats the system. I dont agree with it, and I am not sure what the answer is.
