This subject is a hard one for people like myself who are raised believing that the bible is the only way. Religion focuses on the belief of that organization who preaches it, and you are to follow these beliefs or you are in the wrong. The problem then is that this creates limited thinking, it's our way only,and everyone else is wrong, or my belief is best.
I am guilty of this, I was raised Catholic, but I changed to Christian, and I believe in the bible, so for me I have closed my mind to any other thinking. I do try to be open minded, but I admit I am not when it comes to religion. I do see the problems created by religion, many people have died, and wars are always fought over religion. It seems ironic, that religion is basically about good will towards man, but then man is killing to prove or convert others to each ways thinking.
Religion is a topic that can never be won, it is best to let people believe their own way, but others will always fight and say if you dont believe their way you are in the wrong.
I dont believe there can be a solution, everyone is interpreting things a certain way, and religion has been past on for years.
