    1.In the space below, write the title of your tentative topic (e.g. Internet addiction)<br>
 My topic is the affects of sex in the media/advertising on the body images of women.                                                                                                                          <br>

    2. Briefly state why you chose this topic.<br>
    I chose this topic because I wanted to do some kind of research on advertising, and when I was getting information each step I took in furthering the research brought me closer to my topic.  also I am a women so I will have some insight to the topic already.                                                                                                                    <br>

    3.  Spend about five minutes listing what you already know (if anything) about your topic. For example, are you aware of any interesting facts, common misconceptions, your own assumptions, important people or institutions involved, key schools of thought, the extent of  the problem, current trends, etc.?<br>
 I know in my own experience and those of my friends the media has planted the thought that women are just sexual objects for a man's pleasure. Of course I don't believe that concept in any sense but I do believe it is completely unhealthy to be exposed to that kind of thinking.                                                                                                                          <br>

    4.Now spend at least fifteen minutes brainstorming a list of questions about your topic youfd love to learn the answers to. Make this list as long as you can, and don’t worry whether every question is a good one.<br>

why is it the majority of women feel that they have to alter their appearance?<br>
how do cosmetic companies play a role in teaching girls they need to be pleasing to the eye?<br>
how has the amount of sex in the media changed over the years?<br>
how much money  do women spend on cosmetic surgery in a year? how does this relate to their education?<br>
why do men make more money on average than women? <br>
Has the amount of eating disorders changed in comparison to the large amount of sex in advertising?                                                                                                                         <br>
