I chose this topic because I have friends who don't let their children watch television. They believe that it doesn't allow their imaginations to develop. Then on the other hand I have a friend who let's her little girl watch T.V. all the time. I want to see if their is a difference between the two.

I know that lots of people believe that television is one of the main causes for violence.
I assume that sitting in front of the television all day is probably not the healthiest thing for a child to be doing.
Television has taken the place of many physical activities.
