I am not sure if I agree or not. I don't think you have to have two incomes to survive. But that depends on if you are trying to raise a family or not. I live and make it on my OWN. I do not have a roommate or a significant other helping to aide in costs and I am just fine. Now I grew up with my dad and we survived as a family (the three of us including my bro) just fine and on only one income. I realize that life is expensive but it depends on how you live it. There is always a way. I will agree however that it is easier to live with two incomes. There is a lot less stress with two incomes helping to pay the bills and support a family! Anyway just though I would add a little of my opinion!
