I like the notion that the truth really lies within us all. Its a breath of freash air to think that we can see the truth in each others understanding of an event or circumstance. Thompkins piece was about everyones truth be it right or wrong it was the truth for them. Thompkins found a truth in herself, that her own perspective was as much a truth about events as the people she was writing about.
