Has anyone noticed that not one senator or any US politician is supporting or backing Palestine in this Palestine/Israel conflict?
Perhaps Israel is such a strong allie of ours and has so much control that not one US politician wants to go against them, least the politician who dares speak out against Israel "mysteriously" begins to get death threats or all of a sudden has the IRS after them. Apparently, Israel has a secret service called the Infantata (sp?) which makes our secret service look like child's play! Also, Israel is the Holy Land, and many americans are christians or jewish, so American politicians don't want to be seen as anti-semetic etc. esp. with Bush espousing all the time- your either with us or against us. America is filled with very wealthy Jewish people as well as Christians esp. in the East. Wealthy people both Jewish ad Christian who fund many politicians campaigns!
Does everyone of the politicians just really side with Israel period? I guess maybe it's just because of the sheer disbelief and disgust about the Palestinian suicide bombers, understandably so. I'm just wondering what others think about this?
Many middle eastern countries feel very oppressed and threatened by the US and Israel etc. Things need to change for the better all over the world. Some more fairness and better management of resources needs to happen. The US and Israel do seem like terrorists to many of these Middle Eastern countries and peoples. I wonder what it's really like to see thing's from the perspective of concerned middle eastern citizens.
The lines of right and wrong, truth and lie seems to get harder to distinguish in these times. In war, there are no winners.
Also, why didn't the US kill Sadam in Iraq years back. We could have killed him, but we didn't. Were we just creating that war to stimulate our economy and spend more on the military. Sadam must have some influence or be somewhat bait or a pawn to our government for us to keep him alive. Has anyone else ever thought of these things?
I hope we in the US and the world can keep our faith and goodness and change things for the better- the political landscapes and every landscape.
