I find it appalling that big business can get away with so much. However, in respect to the economy and the interest of big business, this is a very lucrative practice. If I were the head of a company that had questionable practices, I believe that I would attempt to prolong the period before laws that would decrease profits went into effect. The swaying of politicians seems a very logical and highly used route to take. So, from the perspective of big business, I understand this practice and the benefits of it. This is the way that America has promoted big business for decades. It is sad, but if accepted as a reality, can be used to create many profitable industries, that we can only hope will keep the interests of the future on hand.
