Is the US a democracy? No
The Un-Constitutional two-party system does not allow room for candidates who represent any potential to change the structure.
Instead we are force fed rhetoric and cliches that work on emotion and sarcasm. Not only are we disabled from action, we are also having our ability to think for ourselves stolen. Yeah sure, love it or leave it, We're either for or against America, WE can't let the terrorists win.
Who is WE? They've already won, America has her war and The Homeland Security is just an excuse to rob us of Social Security.
Every move favors the rich, which none of us are. And that's exactly how they like it. We are segmented and shoved into social groups. We are divided on all sides. In this time of supposed unity, we are especially vulnerable. Most just accept things the way they are, usually these are the same people who know everything and do nothing. But our future is being bought, sold, and traded with OUR blood, sweat, and tears. And that's not just rhetoric. It takes initiative, drive, and compassion to make the biggest changes in society.
