Worship of mary-

1. Influence of greco-roman, roman and egyptian paganism-godless worship virgin godess with sons. same as xianity

*** Immaculation Conception- mary was born without sin. Mother would have to be sinless to have jesus sinless. Mary being looked as being sinless probably fed in the worship of mary instead of the focus on jesus.

-There was a general assumption that mary went to heaven the same way jesus did.
-Do not find anyone worshiping mary in the N.T.
