Notes:
Early Christians kept the Jewish law
Exception: PAUL
Paul had a big influence on the Church
Paul believed that ritual and ceremonial law doesn't apply after Jesus' death, but moral law does.
Paul does address homosexuality as a sin
Jesus never addresses homosexuality directly
Jews regarded "un-jews" as unclean
Paul believes-follow the law to the letter until he sees Christ, then believes that the law doesn't apply

If Jesus was a liar (or lunatic) then how can you trust other things he has to say?
-beliefs make sense
-is this analogous to an "expert" situation or a personal character situation where a flawed individual may have good things to say (i.e. M.L. King)
What was Jesus' main message? (compassion?)
