-reliablism-beliefs are justified if they come as a result of a reliable process
-justification is a matter of objective states of affairs which make your belief likely to be true, not your subjective state of mind

-Externalist criticism of Internalism:
-Int. could justify anything (too weak to call justification)
-ex: -belief in evil spirits as cause of epilepsy
-white supremacy
-we never went to the moon,etc.
-ex. (of ext.):the idiot savant (like Rainman)-"reflective access" to the reasons for their consistantly correct beliefs are not necessary for justification

-intuition about something that turns out to be true
-beliefs you've carefully formed whose reasons you've forgotten

-Which way is better, Ext. or Int.?
-Maybe they are just diff. forms or senses of justification in diff. senses (objective or subjective)
