I agree with your view that the Government would do no better with our society. The whole time I was reading the assigned chapters, I kept thinking that no matter if our society was run privately or by the government the result would still be the same as it is today. Our government is in the running for the money as much the private sector is. I believe that is why we have no control over our society. We have one group of people controlling the financial/business sector, and then the government controlling everything else. And you know the two are intermixed. You hear stories all the time of government officials being paid off by the "Megamerger" companies to keep quiet over certain affairs, or for not sending them to jail for breaking laws. And that's just the things we civilians hear about. {Probably about 1% of what really goes on} I think it is a very sad world that we live in!
